I was raised in a Catholic bubble. My parents are non-practicing Catholics, so we didn’t attend Mass on Sundays or religious holidays. I attended Catholic school from kindergarten to twelfth grade. I was mostly indifferent to the sacraments and lessons about scripture. However, there were several occasions where I felt incredibly angry and purposefully bucked against ideas that were taught.
